Since it’s restoration, paid for primarily by a generous donation from the world class Italian designer TOD’S, the Colosseum has been opened occasionally in the evenings for a unique and unforgettable illuminated experience.

One of the most iconic structures on the planet, get up close and personal with the world’s most famous amphitheater as your guide brings it to life, explaining its awe-inspiring structure, and recreating the days when it was filled with the sounds of roaring animals, crowds, and the clashing swords of gladiators.

• Due to recent terrorist threats, Rome has increased Colosseum security which may result in long, unavoidable security check lines. In the case of very long security lines, the guide will illustrate the Colosseum from the outside, allowing clients to enter at their leisure. NO LIQUIDS, GELS, SPRAYS allowed inside the Colosseum.
